As the only junior in this class I would like to introduce myself properly. My name is Alina Lokelanionakupuna Ua Taunuʻu Mauai, but I prefer Lina. I enjoy working out, sports, reading, singing and creating various things. This will definitely be an interesting year due to the fact that i am completely surrounded by upperclassmen. I am from the west side but I board now due to the conflicting schedules of school and my commute times to and from home. I'm more specifically from makaha but its still part of the ahupuaʻa of waianae so its close enough. My the wind of my ahupuaʻa is Kaiāulu and my rain is Kukalahale. My mountain is Mount Kaʻala and my wai is Pokaʻi Bay.

Aloha Aina means...
Aloha aina is like a feeling, a deep familial connection the land of your childhood and family. A man if nothing if they have nowhere to call home, so if you have a such a place is is obvious you would love it and take care of it. Aloha Aina becomes Malama Honua when your love of your home becomes action to take care of your world when you realise that our planet is our home and itʻs the only one we got so it is up to us to take care of it. In conclusion I hope we can have a great year in this class. |
